Cinghiale Felice is a traditional Italian restaurant from Tuscany that needed a rebrand. They wanted a modern icon but also to keep some traditional feel.
The image of Cinghiale (in Italian the wild boar) was requested by the client because that is the main dish of the restaurant.
They were also in the process of building an app for booking reservations and a new website therefore designing an icon that can work in digital space was a must.

In my design exploration, I wanted to achieve an icon that can work perfectly in both positive and negative versions, with a background in color and simple white.

To keep the feeling of tradition I combined the newly designed icon with a beautiful Italian typeface that takes its cues from the elegant Stile Liberty travel posters of Italy in the early 1900s.
Client Feedback
Our logo is modern but still traditional, I love it! It helped us attract younger people especially because of how the logo looks in the booking app.
