FURRISHTAY is a new-age pet healing startup that focuses on natural pet healing through energy healing techniques. They specialize in offering premium Reiki-infused crystal products designed to enhance the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of pets.

Their brand's core mission is to ensure that the short life journey of these beloved furry angels is filled with health and joy. They wanted the logo to clearly represent the soul of their business, which was the belief that pets were God-sent angels and should be treated accordingly.

The client knew they wanted an animal to be the main icon of their brand, but they weren't quite sure which animal would be the perfect fit for their brand identity. I began sketching and exploring different animals such as dogs, cats, and rabbits in various shapes and forms until the perfect character was finally developed.

After careful consideration, a cat that meditates emerged as a charming and adorable solution that perfectly aligned with the client's requirements. The image of a meditating cat not only conveyed a sense of calm and serenity but also added a touch of whimsy to the brand's identity.

This icon is a combination of three elements:

  1. An angelic halo representing spirituality,

  2. A meditating cat, and

  3. A Reiki crystal.

This mark serves as a mascot/character design. It portrays a friendly and happy pet engaging in meditation and harnessing the healing energy of the crystal to heal itself."

It was crucial to create an icon that was perfect for the app's design while also considering the need for a less detailed version that could be used as a favicon.
