Sacchetti group is an Italian, Milan-based group of architects, designers, urbanists, landscape professionals, interior and product designers, researchers, and inventors.
The office is involved in projects throughout Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. Sacchetti’s architecture group emerges from a careful analysis of how contemporary life constantly evolves and changes.
When I was approached by the client the first thing that I was asked was to develop a new brand identity with emphasization on the meaning of the group.
The studio founder Mattia Sacchetti a rising Italian architect winning many worldwide architecture awards felt a need to spread his studio.
He needed to collect a team and form a group of partners. From that simple need, the studio's philosophy was born of architects that work together synchronized as one big creative powerhouse.
After many sketches, the letter symbol appeared to be the best choice for development. The symbol is composed of two letters ”S” and ”G” created from continuous geometrical lines forming a labyrinth alike monogram.
The letter ”G” is in the center showing the viewer that the group is the main focus, while the letter ”S” encompasses it presenting the founder Mattia Sacchetti that formed the group.

The Sacchetti group designs are clean, bold, and modern therefore selected color palette is intense and powerful combining two main colors black and red with a soft elegant finish of pale rose when the logo is used on a red background.
At the entrance of the office building, the 3d logo was padded in black color and placed on a gray concrete wall. Website & Printing materials such as stationery design including letterhead, greeting cards, and business cards were in the same grid system with elegant geometrical sans serif typeface. The mark has been used also in an extended version in which the upper and lower parts of the letter S are becoming continuous lines that can go to the edges of the page layout.
Client Feedback
I love the concept and the meaning behind the new design. When most people see
the logo’s well-formed geometrical shape of the letters ”S” and ”G” stands out.
It starts an enjoyable conversation about how lines are elegant and letters well combined.
